Three Links Care Society is hosting the second of our town hall series next Friday, September 28 from 11:30am – 1:00pm at the Three Links Manor – across the street from the Care Centre. The goal of these town halls is to provide relevant information to frail seniors and their loved ones caring for them in the neighbourhood about community services available to support their needs. Our first event took place in June.
Friday’s town hall will feature Three Links Dietitian Rebecca Lim talking about nutrition, a representative from the Canadian National Institute for the Blind providing an overview of their local services and a member of the Senior’s First advocacy group to talk about local resources available to families in need, particularly related to preventing elder abuse. You are invited to attend and share with others in your network. Light snacks and refreshments will be available
