The Three Links Volunteer Program is one of the most successful in the province.  Over the summer, we are taking this opportunity to thank and recognize some of our Award winning volunteers who are contributing their precious time to improve the quality of life for our Care Centre residents.

Performing service with a genuine desire to help residents grow and feel valuable, and pursuing excellence in every role they perform, the volunteer of the year award is reserved for the one volunteer who really gave it their all – making the best of the time years time.

Shannon Pansoy, who is a registered midwife and certified caregiver in the Philippines, she has always wanted to apply herself more to going to distance to help anyone she can. This led her to Three Links, and to demonstrate the remarkable qualities of a Volunteer of the Year.

“Overwhelmed” was how she described herself receiving the award. “It is a great honor to be recognized and to receive the award. It gives me more reason to volunteer and motivate me more to spend my free time with the resident.”
