A reminder to all staff, family, and volunteers who are visiting the Care Center; the flu season officially runs from December 1st to March 31st. Our residents are very frail, and many have compromised immune systems. What would be a minor inconvenience for one of us may be very dangerous to them. As such, anyone who has not had their influenza vaccine will be required to wear a mask while at the Center.
Make sure to wash your hands and use sanitizer liberally, especially if you have a cough, or minor cold. But as always, if you are unwell, please stay home. Come back and visit when you are feeling better. Let’s work together to make sure the flu season is as discreet as possible.
